Selective Breeding of Female Plant from Three Different Hybridizable Castor F2

Abstract

Abstract: The sexual reversible of main spike, the effective branches, the length of main spikes and the weight of 100 grains of F2 female plants which came from different hybridizations was studied. The result showed that Contrasting with CK, the sexual reversible of main spike, the effective branches, the length of main spikes of three F2 female plants was extremely significant. But in weight of 100 grains, the female plants from the F2 of CSR8-5×OUC-5 was not significant, and the female plants from the F2 of CSR8-5×DH-7 was extremely significant lower. Throught F2 female plants of different hybridizations castor selected, F2 female plants of synthetized character castor are filtrated to fit to southern of China.
