烤烟新品种‘湘烟8号’的选育及其特征特性

摘要：

为应对东南烟区病害重、品种结构单一的问题，选育优质、多抗、易烤、丰产的烤烟新品种，旨在满足烟区生产需要，以‘湘烟4号’为母本、‘K326’为父本进行杂交，采用系谱法进行系统选育，‘湘烟8号’于2023年通过全国烟草品种审定。该品种遗传稳定，田间长势强，烘烤性能优异；在抗病性方面，它对黑胫病呈抗性，对青枯病表现为中抗，综合抗性能力显著优于‘K326’；在主要经济性状上，“湘烟8号”的表现尤为突出，产量、产值、均价、上等烟比例分别比‘K326’增加8.64%、13.68%、5.35%、13.48%，与“云烟87”的水平相当；其原烟色泽多呈橘黄色，油分含量丰富，叶片结构疏松；内在化学成分配比协调，感官评吸表现为香气质中偏上，综合感官质量优于‘K326’和‘云烟87’。综上所述，‘湘烟8号’是一个兼顾品质、抗病、产量等方面的优良新品种，适宜在湖南及东南烟区推广种植。

Abstract:

To address the issues of severe diseases and narrow varietal diversity in tobacco-growing areas of Southeast China, a new flue-cured tobacco variety with high quality, multiple disease resistance, easy curing and high yield was bred to meet production demands. ‘Xiangyan 8’ was developed via systematic pedigree selection from the cross between ‘Xiangyan 4’ (female parent) and ‘K326’ (male parent), and was approved by the National Tobacco Variety Examination Committee in 2023. This variety exhibits stable heredity, strong field growth vigor and easy curing. It is resistant to black shank and moderately resistant to bacterial wilt, with comprehensive resistance superior to that of ‘K326’. Its main economic traits are significantly better than those of ‘K326’ and comparable to those of ‘Yunyan 87’. Compared with ‘K326’, the yield, output value, average price and high-grade leaf proportion of ‘Xiangyan 8’ were increased by 8.64%, 13.68%, 5.35% and 13.48% respectively. The cured leaves are mostly orange-yellow, rich in oil and loosely structured. The internal chemical components are harmonious. Sensory evaluation shows that its aroma quality is medium to high, and its overall sensory quality is superior to that of ‘K326’ and ‘Yunyan 87’. As an elite new variety balancing quality, disease resistance and yield, ‘Xiangyan 8’ is suitable for popularization and cultivation in tobacco-growing areas of Hunan Province and Southeast China.
