Abstract: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which has been widely applied in the world, is the effective method to whole course control on quality and safety of agricultural product. This article introduced and studied the most advanced and practical GAP system EUREPGAP in the world, and established the apple GAP suitable to China, which is composed of 13 chapters and 52 data forms, and quoted 13 national standards, 4 agricultural industry standards, and 3 laws of China. These chapters are respectively ‘traceability’, ‘record keeping and internal self-inspection’, ‘varieties and rootstocks’, ‘choice and management of site’, ‘soil management’, ‘fertilizer use’, ‘irrigation/fertigation’, ‘crop protection’, ‘harvesting’, ‘produce handling’, ‘waste and pollution management, recycling and re-use’, ‘worker health, safety and welfare’, and ‘environmental issues’
