Abstract:

The study clarifies the effect of different proportions of biogas fertilizer on Ligustrum × vicaryi growth and physiological characteristics, thus to provide a basis for the rational application of biogas to Ligustrum × vicaryi seedling cultivation. In field condition, 5 treatments were set as conventional fertilization (control, Z1), 25% biogas fertilizer (Z2), 50% biogas fertilizer (Z3), 75% biogas fertilizer (Z4), 100% biogas fertilizer (Z5), 3 repeats were conducted. The results showed that: for new treetop growth amount, Z4 was higher than control by 34.73% and Z2 by 6.89%; the chlorophyll content of Z4 was higher than that of Z1 in July and August by 35.00% and 64.71%, and that of Z5 was higher than Z1 by 20.00% and 47.06%; the root activity of Z4 and Z5 treatment was higher than Z1 by 55.26% and 50.00% in August; water use efficiency of Z4 treatment was higher than Z1 by 53.45%, 49.61% and 60.06% in June, July and August, there was no significant difference between Z2 and Z1; POD activity had no significant difference among all treatments in May, while that of Z4 was higher than Z1 by 25.34%, 32.51% and 42.21% in June, July and August; SOD activity had no significant difference among all treatments in April and May, while that of Z4 was higher than Z1 by 42.29%, 39.08% and 34.29% in June, July and August. According to the comprehensive analysis, Z4 is the best treatment on promoting growth and physiological characteristics of Ligustrum × vicaryi.
