Abstract:

To carry out the construction of facility agriculture and avoid potential risks brought by blind expanding of industrial scale, using the meteorology dataset of 14 stations in Chifeng for the past 30 years (1989-2018), the key meteorological factors affecting facility agriculture were analyzed. Two climatic resource variables, including annual sunshine hours and average minimum temperature in winter, and four meteorological disaster variables, including annual gale days, annual hail frequency, annual snowfall times over 10 mm and days with daily minimum temperature less than or equal to -25℃ in winter, were selected as the major indexes for determining the suitable area for constructing facility agriculture. Based on GIS, using regression analysis and TPS, the author made spatial interpolation of regionalization factors and produced the climatic regionalization map of facility agriculture in Chifeng. The results showed that the suitable area and the sub-suitable area are mainly concentrated in the east-central and southeast of Chifeng, which has low altitude, flat terrain, sufficient heat and light, relatively fewer meteorological disasters, and suitable for the development of facility agriculture. The north and northwest of Chifeng are dominated by mountains and hills, with high altitude, insufficient heat condition and frequent meteorological disasters, which are not suitable for the construction of facility agriculture.
