The Extension of Deep Side Fertilizing Technology in Rice Production——Take Heilongjiang as an Example

Abstract:

Deep side fertilizing technology in rice production, with the advantages of labor saving, yield increase and fertilizer utilization efficiency improvement, has been chosen as one of the leading technology by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Fully understanding the feasibility and limiting factors of the extension of the technology in rice production in China, and formulating effective extension scheme and supportive policy are important for promoting the technology and for reducing quantity and increasing efficiency of fertilizer utilization. In the study, we discussed the feasibility of promoting the technology from 3 aspects: the experience and enlightenment from abroad, the basis for the technology extension in China, and the advantage of the technology in rice production. Then, we analyzed the limiting factors of the technology extension from the points of production condition difference among regions, increase of production cost and insufficient matching technology, and proposed countermeasures for promoting the technology in China.
