Abstract:

To solve the problem of mulch film residual and recovery, and find out the causes and put forward the corresponding countermeasures in Taicang Town of Suzhou City, this study investigated and sampled field samples in 15 monitoring points of typical film mulching vegetable areas through field investigation, positioning point sampling, questionnaire survey and interviewed with key informant, and other means. The results showed that the average residual amount of mulch film in soil was 9.81 kg/hm2 before crop planting in 2021, and 9.55 kg/hm2 after planting. Overall, Taicang City belonged to a low pollution area, and the average amount of annual plastic film residue showed a downward trend. Through investigation and comprehensive analysis, it was found that the total amount of mulch film residual in soil was mainly affected by many factors such as plastic film mulching years, vegetable varieties, mulch film recycling methods, crop planting methods and much film quality, etc. The influences of planting method and recycling mode were greater than planting crop type on the residual amount of mulch film, which were considered to be the most important factors affecting the residual amount of mulch film. Recycling and reuse of mulch film can promote the healthy development of green sustainable agriculture, and the results of this study could provide a theoretical reference for the relevant departments.
