Abstract:

The effects of different fertilization treatments on the yield and nutritional quality of silage maize variety ‘Dajingjiu 26’ were studied by “3414” optimal regression design. The results showed that proper amount of nitrogen fertilizer could increase the fresh weight yield and dry matter yield of silage maize more than phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and could increase the content of crude protein (CP) significantly, it is beneficial to improve the content of acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and fat; potassium fertilizer has less effect on improving the nutritional quality of silage corn; the increase of phosphate fertilizer is unfavorable for improving the nutritional quality. Among the 14 treatments, N2P1K2 treatment has better comprehensive performance. The results of this study could lay a foundation for formulating proper cultivation techniques of high-yield and high-quality silage maize in northwest Hebei Province.
