Abstract: With the methods of pollen-tube-pathway, the exogenous DNA extracted from donor waxy corn was introduced into the sweet maize inbred lines. The progenies appear the mutant characters, mainly including the height of plant, the height of fruit, the area of leaf etc. Through planted and observed in D3 generation, which character tended to be stabilized. Analyzed its soluble sugar, protein and starch content of the stable strain D3 generation, the results indicated that the soluble sugar content was little changed, protein and starch content was increased. Consequently, it offers a collated theoretical base to develop new mutant maize material for transmitting exogenous DNA. of different species .
