Abstract: The northeast black soil area is an important commodity grain base in China. Due to the rapid development of economy and the improvement of industry and agriculture, regional soil and water loss became serious, black soil layer became thinner and soil fertility became worse. Combined with the soil environmental condition and existing environmental problems, the authors selected typical black soil environmental quality indicators from 5 aspects including driving force, soil environmental pressure, soil environmental condition, soil environmental impact and response based on the driving force - pressure - state - response (DPSIR) framework model. The index system included 5 parts, 18 primary indexes and 30 second indexes. The authors put forward the soil environmental zoning and classification management solution in black soil area with the guidance of evaluation index system and in combination with existing environmental management policies and soil environmental quality problems, the result provided a scientific basis for regional soil environmental management and environmental protection.
