Abstract: In order to discuss germination characteristics of new super rice ‘Songjing 15’ under salt stress, the index including germination vigor, germination rate, seedling length, root length, root number, seedling fresh weight, root fresh weight, seedling dry weight, root dry weight were investigated and analyzed, adopting single salt stress 50,100,150,200mmol/L total 4 concentrations culturing in climatic cabinate. The results indicated that: Salt stress lead to decline of germination vigor, germination rate, germination index, vigour index of ‘Songjing 15’, and gradually decrease with the increase of salt concentration, seedling length and main root were inhibited, root length increased and then decreased as the salt concentration increased, seedling fresh weight and seedling dry weight were lower than control, root fresh weight and root dry weight were higher than control，it was significant positive correlation between salt concentration and root fresh weight, root dry weight, and significant negative correlation with seedling length, root number, root dry weight, germination vigor, germination rate by correlation analysis of salt concentration and germination characteristics index.
