Abstract:

To explore the artificial cultivation technology of Aegiceras corniculatum in freshwater and to select suitable substrates for seedling culture, using pond mud, yellow soil, river sand and coconut bran as experimental materials, 10 kinds of mixed substrates were combined by different ratios, and the seedling culture was carried out. The results showed that different mixed substrates had obvious effects on seedling rate, seedling height, ground diameter, root growth, fresh weight and dry weight. Among them, the total score of substrate F (30% pond mud+ 50% yellow soil+ 10% river sand+ 10% coconut bran) was the highest. Cultured by this substrate, the average seedling height, ground diameter, main root length, number of the first-order lateral roots, whole plant biomass, and seedling rate of Aegiceras corniculatum was higher than those of the mixed substrate with the lowest score by 24.3%, 11.1%, 6.3%, 6.5%, 37.5%, and 2.0%, respectively.
