Abstract:

Aiming to explore the influence of final singling time on growth dynamics and growth rhythm of Cunninghamia konishii seedlings, optimize final singling seedling time, and provide theoretical and technical support for seedling cultivation, the experiment of final singling time of C. konishii was carried out with annual seedlings. The effects of final singling time on seedling growth dynamics and growth rhythm were analyzed by using the method of fixed plant observation and fitting seedling growth dynamics with Logistic equation. The results showed that the effect of final singling time on seedlings height and ground diameter growth appeared with the time, and it was a dynamic process. Logistic equation fitted well the growth dynamics of C. konishii seedlings. Final singling time significantly affected the total linear growth, the linear growth rate and the maximum linear growth rate of seedling height and ground diameter, but had no significant effect on the linear growth beginning days, linear growth final days, and linear growth duration of seedling height and ground diameter. Final singling time at initial stage of seedling height growth significantly increased the total linear growth, the linear growth rate and the maximum linear growth rate of seedling height and ground diameter compared with other treatments, and increasing the nutrient and water supply in fast-growing stage could improve the seedlings quality. The reasonable final singling time of C. konishii is at the initial stage of seedling height growth (June 30).
