Progress in Vegetable Nitrate Accumulation Control Measurements

Abstract

Abstract: Nitrate content is a major factor of the impact on the quality of vegetables, is affected by the plant genetic characteristics of their own, nutrition and environmental conditions. This paper reviews the progress of the impact factors of nitrate accumulation in vegetables that the reasonable nitrogen fertilization such as the choice of species, nitrogen fertilization, balanced fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer, and the control of environmental conditions such as water, light, temperature and so on. It is an important guarantee for reducing nitrate content of vegetables that nitrate in the lower vegetable varieties screening, reasonable balance nutrient supplying and appropriate environmental conditions providing.
