  Expression of EGFP Gene in Fibroblasts Mediated by Lentiviral Vector Cao Hongguo, , Li Yunsheng, Qu Xiuxia 2008, 24 (7):  6-10.  Abstract + ( 1620 )   PDF ( 575767KB )   ( 1330 ) In order to study dedifferentiation and cell orientation in the body of human adult cell, adult human fibroblast lines that stably expressed exterior gene were established. Adult male foreskin subcutaneous tissues apart from epidermis and hypodermis were taken by surgery operation and human foreskin fibroblasts were isolated and cultured, then enhanced green fluorescence protein (EGFP) in human fibroblasts were expressed by lipofectamine and lentiviral vectors, respectively. Results showed that human fibroblasts had shuttle-like image and stable growth characteristics. EGFP was unsteadily expressed in human fibroblasts, positive cells in total fibroblasts were very low, human fibroblasts became thinner and had slower growth characteristic after transfected by lipofectamine. In contrast, EGFP was steadily expressed in human fibroblasts, positive cells in total fibroblasts was very high, and fibroblasts had rapid proliferation and stable growth characteristics that were not affected by continous cell passage and cell frozen-thawn after transfected by lentiviral vectors. In addition, EGFP positive fibroblasts in total cells were 99.85% and homogeneous fibroblasts in total cells were 76.05% by flowcytometer assay. It is showed that expression of EGFP gene in human fibroblasts mediated by lentiviral vector was high efficient and stable.

  Cloning and the Construction of Prokaryotic Expression of the Site A of S Gene of Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus Zhang Chunye, Shen Hong, Zhang Li, Li Huanrong, Lu Ping 2008, 24 (7):  11-16.  Abstract + ( 1945 )   PDF ( 642013KB )   ( 885 ) 【OBJECTIVE】To clone the site A of S gene of transmissible gastroenteritis virus and to construct the prokaryotic expression vectors of site A.【METHOD】The target gene of the site A of S gene was amplified respectively by RT-PCR with a pair of primers, which was designed according to the published sequence of TGEV S gene with primer 6.0 software. The amplified gene was cloned into the vector peasy-T , Then the gene and the vector PET-32a（+）was digested by EcoR I and Xhol I. The recycled genes were inserted into the multiple cloning sites of the vector PET-32a（+），The recombinant plasmid was transformed into BL21(DE3) strain and the positive plasmid was identified by restriction enzyme, PCR and sequencing.【RESULTS】The results showed that the length of target gene was 534bp and the nucleotide had a relatively high homology with the corresponding gene from other TGEV strains according to the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences. The site A gene were cloned into the vector peasy-T and the recombinant expression vectors were constructed successfully.【CONCLUSION】The construction of recombinant expression vectors filled up a gap of the study on site A of S gene in China. It also could provide a technical basis for the diagnosis of TGEV.

In recent years, Bt has been tremendously applied in other fields. The article reviews some aspects of the microbiology of Bt and the use of Bt in animal diseases control.

  Construct Prokaryotic Expression Vector of Thymosin Alpha l and Expression in Escherichia coli Cui Xuezhi, , Ma Fenglong, Qiao Yanliang, Liu Huanqi, Ren Qingna, Liu Huanzhen 2008, 24 (7):  22-25.  Abstract + ( 1623 )   PDF ( 466312KB )   ( 685 ) To construct prokaryotic expression vector of thymosin alpha l (Tαl), and express in Escherichia coli strain BL21, make foundation to gain amounts of thymosin alpha l (Tαl). The four repeats of thymosin alpha l (Tαl), which was chemically synthesized, was inserted into expression vector pET32a. The recombined pET32a-3Tαl was transferred into Escherichia coli strain BL21with CaCl2. After screening with Ampicillin, the positive clone was induced to express with IPTG, and the expression product was analyzed with SDS-PAGE. A positive protein band, which was the same as interest protein molecular weight about 31kD, was found in the expression product. The gene of Tαl was cloned into the expression vector correctly and was expressed successfully in E. coli expression system.

  Sequence Analysis of Canine Parvovirus VP2 Gene Song Yongqi, Li Yuyan, Lu Yanli, Han Bo 2008, 24 (7):  26-31.  Abstract + ( 1860 )   PDF ( 630417KB )   ( 814 ) Using polymerase chain reaction (PCR), we amplified the complete VP2 gene of twenty canine parvovirus samples collected in small animal hospital of China Agricultural University from 2006 to 2007. sequence analysis of nucleotide and deduced amino acid residues revealed that nineteen samples were CPV-2a and one CPV-2b among the twenty canine parvovirus. All samples had an amino acid substitution of residue 297 in VP2, Ser to Ala. nineteen CPV-2a samples studied in this study had reversion substitution (Ile→Val) at residue 555 in VP2. Compared with classical CPV-2a/b isolates, some samples had new amino acid substitutions: Samples CPV/BJ005/07 and CPV/BJ008/07 at amino acid residue 139 in VP2 was Ile instead of Val; Ile-324 variants accounted to 80% (16/20). Amino acid substitutions of residue 226 (Ser→Asn) and 382 (Arg→Lys)were found in samples CPV/BJ004/07and CPV/BJ050/07, respectively. All (Ile-139, Ile-324, Asn-226, and Lys-382) except Ile-139 substitutions were all in regions of potential antigen epitopes by DNAStar software analysis, and these substitutions may have an important influence to viral biology aspect.

  Studies on Correlation of Rice Quality and Enzyme Activity in Grain Filling Period Sun Jincai, Yang Zemin 2008, 24 (7):  32-38.  Abstract + ( 1703 )   PDF ( 863065KB )   ( 748 ) The fluctuation of grain filling has tight correlation with enzyme status. The speed of grain filling usually is the maximum when the activity of most enzymes arrived its peak, which is about in 10 days after flowering. The smooth fluctuation of grain filling and long prophase and middle period lead to better rice quality, the better is about 14 days. The activity of ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase was normally stabilizes in different varieties, which will arrive its peak about in 12 days after flowering. The fluctuation of Q-enzyme presents differently from others, which has no notable correlation with other enzymes.

Recent progresses have shown that the arginine methyltranserases regulate growth and development of eukaryotes, and are involved in adaptation to their environment. However, the functions of these enzymes and the underlying molecular mechanisms are largely unknown. In this review, we describe the classification and the structures of the arginine methyltranserses. We also summarize the recent progresses in the functions of arginine methyltransferases in plants and animals. Finally, we present our outlook for the future and discuss directions of future research in the functional study of arginine methyltransferases.

Hapten was conjugated to bovine serum albumin (BSA) and ovalbumin (OVA) by diazotization method, two artificial antigens were used as antigen and coating antigen. Antigens were confirmed by ultraviolet spectrum. The coupling ratio were 11:1 and 8:1.Two rabbits were immunized, the antiserum was examined by indirect ELISA and indirect competitive ELISA experiments, the titer of the two rabbits was 100000 and 80000 separately, the inhibition ratio was more than 80% when the concentration of the deltamethrin was 50μg/ml. The results showed that the artificial antigen was synthesized successfully.

Many kinds of genetic resources of fine characteristic are filtered by studying, and provides fine idioplasm which can be used for breeding and studying genetic resources.

The results showed that the anti-oxidation materials polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and ascorbic acid (Vc) decreased browning efficiently; the best medium for proliferation was 1/2 MS+ BA0.3mg/L + NAA 0.05mg/L with differentiation percentage of 87% and proliferation multiples of 7.5 respectively, and there was a great significant difference compared with other treatments. The differentiation and regeneration of adventitious shoot from leaves increased significantly in the medium MS containing BA0.3mg/L and NAA0.05mg/L supplemented with 12mg/L sodium nitroprusside (SNP) in which regeneration frequency and average number of shoots were 100% and 12 respectively. The best rooting medium was 1/2 MS+ IBA0.3mg/L .

  Optimization of Solid-state Fermentation Medium Components for Producing Bacillus thringiensis by Response Surface Analysis Yang Chaoying, Tao Yugui, Xu Xianlu, Ye Lianbin, Wang Yaoming 2008, 24 (7):  69-73.  Abstract + ( 1942 )   PDF ( 530048KB )   ( 980 ) Plackett-Burman and response surface analysis methods were applied to optimization of solid-state fermentation medium for producing biological pesticide by means of Bacillus thringiensis stimulated by the artificial pressure period. The significant influence factors of medium components on production of biological pesticide were evaluated by SAS system in brewer’s grain as main raw materials. The result of optimization showed by response surface methodology that the suitable medium components should be brewer’s grain 100g, corn meal 2.19g, soybean 15.41, KＨ2PO4 0.22g. Under the optimal conditions, the experimental values agreed with the predicted values. As the result, the activity of biological pesticide was 8563IU/mg.

HPLC, spectrophotometry and chromatic aberration were adopted to investigate physical and chemical properties of Liubao tea The main functional chemicals in Liubao casual tea and brick tea were analysed, The free amino acid contents were (29.81±0.073)and (2.37±0.011)mg/g. The theanine was not detected. The water-soluble saccharide contents were (38.45±1.03)and (47.55±1.19)mg/g. The free protein contents were (13.28±0.53) and (11.41±1.71)mg/g. The gallic acid contents were (4.24±0.063) and (2.37±0.011)mg/g. The caffeine contents were (28.30±0.10) and (29.28±0.059) mg/g. The tea polyphenols contents were (131.09±8.41) and (95.61±0.58) mg/g, and then the numbers of catechin compositions detected were 8 and 7, and their contents were determined.The water extracts were (335.68±9.22) and (305.22±7.76)mg/g. chromatic aberration of tea liquor were analyzed by L*a*b* table color system. UV-Vis spectra showed that there were absorption peak at about 205 and 272 nm. Liubao tea has typical characteristics of Heicha.

  Dissipation of Cyhalothrin in Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Li Keming, Qin Weiquan, Li Xiulian, Li Chaoxu, Huang Shanchun 2008, 24 (7):  81-84.  Abstract + ( 1711 )   PDF ( 485741KB )   ( 779 ) The residual dynamics of cyhalothrin in Gynostemma Pentaphyllum were determined by gas chromatography．Gynostemma Pentaphyllum samples were extracted with acetone and petroleum ether，separated by capillary column and determined with ECD.The results showed the limit of detection was 5×10-12g and the minimum concentration of detection was 8×10-3mg/kg.The half life of cyhalothrin in Gynostemma Pentaphyllum was about 5 days. The terminal residues Gynostemma Pentaphyllum were not detected after 30 days.

Statistic analysis showed that sunshine was not good for the stability of lutein and β-carotene, and the content of β-carotene would reduce rapidly in the room temperature. O2 had few effects on lutein and β-carotene. K、Ca、Mg and Co were not good for the stability of Lutein, and mineral elements were bad for the stability of β-carotene，and Ca was the best. VcNa and Vc as 0.24% were good for the stability of lutein and β-carotene.

The Gas chromatography-mass spectrum instrument was used to analyze the volatiles of various stalk position of Elsholtzia, which were extracted by simultaneous distillation and solvent extraction (SDE). The major components included Elsholtzia ketone and Dehydroelsholtzia ketone by area normalization method. The relative contents of Flower、stems and leaves are 19.93%,57.19%;20.39%, 50.31%;18.02%,44.68% respectively. The volatile oils were used in the tobacco which can improve the smooth and show the delicate green note.

  The Analysis on Variety Structure of High-Quality Wheat in Henan Province Song Jiayong 2008, 24 (7):  97-100.  Abstract + ( 1633 )   PDF ( 448565KB )   ( 825 ) The essential part of Henan wheat economy is production, processing and international trade of High-quality wheat. The initial aspect that affects high-quality wheat development is variety structure. This paper analyzes high-quality wheat quality structure, variety structure, contribution of them to total yield, and anticipation on wheat production and development of wheat economy in Henan. In conclusion, the result indicates that the high-quality wheat production is on the rise, which presents “s” shape by means of area. Although the overall tendency of high-quality wheat breeding is diversity-oriented, two or three varieties are in a commanding position，especially the “Zheng Mai” series got outstanding contribution during the “10th Five-Year Plan”.

  Effect of N-application Rate and Planting Density on Mechanic Characteristics of Rice Culms Shi Yangjuan, , Huang Yanling, Shen Guangle, Wang Weigang,Zhang Zhizhuan, Shi Yingyao, Chen Duopu 2008, 24 (7):  101-106.  Abstract + ( 1567 )   PDF ( 641226KB )   ( 775 ) The mechanic characteristics of 6 varieties with different lodging-resistance at 3 nitrogen levels and 3 planting densities were determined．The results showed that in the same density, as the amount of nitrogen increased, bending stress, plant height, the basal internode moment are gradually increasing; but the Lodging index reduced at first, and then increased, that is, in middling fertility area, the smallest lodging index ,the least possibility of lodging. At the same level of nitrogen, as the planting density decreased, the basal internode moment, secontion modulus and lodging index increased after the first reduced, bending stress increased and then decreased, while breaking moment has increased significantly. That is, in the appropriate level of fertilization, planting should not be too thin nor too dense. In high fertility area planted thinly and in low fertility area planted densely, which may reduce the lodging index. Sparse conditions, the changes of the basal internode moment only depend on the number of stem materials to be achieved; in dense-planting conditions, the changes of the basal internode breaking moment are through the changes of section modulus and bending stress two factors together to be acheieved. In the actual production, the amount of nitrogen can neither too high nor too low, further more, different types of species, require different volume of nitrogen and planting density. The improvement of the quality stem of existing high-yield varieties may be an effective means of further improved lodging -resistance of rice.

  Identification of Fue-cured Tobacco Germplasms Li Meiyun, Duan Fengyun, Zhao Guoming, Li Caixing, Li Yongping 2008, 24 (7):  107-112.  Abstract + ( 2198 )   PDF ( 534091KB )   ( 750 ) To screen and identify flue-cured tobacco germplasms, botany characters, appearance quality, disease resistance and economical characters of 20 tobacco germplasm was investigated. The results indicated that the plant height of Liuyejian and Longyan C2 was too high, the leaves of Changbahuangguangban, Xujin 7, Black Shank Resistant, Daris Special, Zhubo1was too few, Liuyejian, Xujin 7, Black Shank Resistant and Daris Special was susceptible to tobacco black shank disease, Daliuye 2014, NC2514, Daris Special, Luodihuang was susceptible to tobacco brown spot disease. By comparation in economical characters and other aspect it was concluded that Islangold, CV78-4, CV78-5, Q1236:Hicks Q46, Wujiang 1 was superior to other tested germplasms. Daris Special, Black Shank Resistant, Changbahuangguangban, Jintai 7615, Daliuye 2014was inferior to other tested germplasms.

  Studies on the Effects of Main Meteorological Factors on Economic Properties of Cotton in Hunan Province Wang Zhaohui, Zhong Linguang, Li Jinglong 2008, 24 (7):  113-118.  Abstract + ( 1717 )   PDF ( 547093KB )   ( 645 ) By using the interpretative methods of grey systematic theory and the gradual regression analysis, the relationship between 4 meteorological factors and the main economic properties of cotton were investigated. The results showed: The variation coefficient of illumination hour and temperature to single boll weight and seed index is bigger than that of lint percentage and lint index under the condition of special ecosystem and cultivation in Hunan Province. Temperature and illumination hour are positive to single boll weight and seed index. Rainfall is rarely positive to single boll weight. Rainfall is positive to lint percentage and lint index.

The result are as follow: sprouting seriously impact on the quality of rice, resulting in the rate of decline in brown rice, milled rice and the head milled rice, and chalky grain size of the rate and chalkiness increase, and Gel consistence decrease and Alkali spreading value decrease，and crude protein content decrease, especially, the rate of the head milled rice droped by the largest and the biggest drop more than 50%,so it’s seriously affected milling quality, appearance quality, cooking and nutritional quality of rice; Germination also made RVA profile character of peak viscosity(PKV) and breakdown value(BDV) decrease, reducing the eating quality of rice.

The result is: the SOD activity of 3 variants are higher than CK; the trend of SOD activity is from low to high, then reaching a peak at 60 day after transplanting, making fall gradually at last.

  Research Advance on Pinus pinaster Ait. At Home and Abroad Zhao Xue, Wang Ti, LI Junqing, Zhang ShenKai 2008, 24 (7):  126-131.  Abstract + ( 1659 )   PDF ( 720070KB )   ( 749 ) The objective of the paper is to state the necessity of introducing Pinus pinaster Ait. in China. Firstly, generalize the biological and ecological characteristic of P. pinaster, and its utilization value. Secondly, after analyzing the natural distributions of P. pinaster and natural conditions of these areas, comparing the climate attributes of the introduced regions in our country and other countries, the possibility of introducing this species are discussed. Lastly, this paper summarizes the research advances of P. pinaster at home and abroad, and the examples of successfully introducing this species overseas. All of these provide theoretical and technical information for our introduction work.

Relation of chlorophyll content, carotenoid content in April, May, July, Sep and leaf colour change rule in a year of Lonicera maackii‘Hongye’and Lonicera maackii were studied in this paper. Results shows that: the chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, chlorophyll a/b ratio, gross chlorophyll content of Lonicera maackii‘Hongye’ is smaller than Lonicera maackii.The carotenoid content of young leaf and old leaf is higher than mature leaf. The leaf color of Lonicera maackii‘Hongye’ is stabilization in a year. It is one of illumination landscape tree. It is also a kind of good local colour plant in North of China.

  Study of Water Conservation Benefit for Different Type Standing Forest of Wutai Mountain Zhang Fuxing 2008, 24 (7):  136-139.  Abstract + ( 1676 )   PDF ( 556796KB )   ( 894 ) By the analysis of the dead leaves and branches and the holding water contents of five type standing forests—birch and larch mixed forest, larch planted forest, Chinese pine planted forest, birch natural forest and shrub forest in Wutai Mountain area, central Asia alpine region, the water conservation benefit among them was compared. The results showed that the contents of dead leaves and branches of five type standing forests was different, and their total weight varied from20 t/hm2 to 50t/hm2. The water holding ability among them was also different: The water yield of mixed forest was high, with the weight of 559t/hm2; the second one was Larch forest, with the weight of 359t/hm2; the last one was shrub forest, with the weight of 339t/hm2. The average content of water of five standing forest was 280 times than that of grass slope. The water conservation benefit of soil for different forests was 277.28%-173.67% higher than that of grass slope, among them, the highest one was birch and larch mixed forest, the followings were larch planted forest, Chinese pine planted forest, birch natural forest, and the lowest one was natural shrub forest. It is suggested that birch and larch mixed forest is a beneficial water conservation type in Wutai Mountain area.

  Difference Analysis of Fiber Quality between Naturally open Bolls and Big Bolls at Frost Season from Hybrid Offspring of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L. Shi Yuzhen, Liu Aiying, Li Junwen, Zhang Baocai, Wang Shufang, Yuan Youlu 2008, 24 (7):  140-147.  Abstract + ( 1363 )   PDF ( 764708KB )   ( 628 ) Data from 12 F1s combinations of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L. and 3 G.Barbadense L. varieties in 2003 and 89 BC2F1 lines of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L. with the G. hirsutum L. as recurrent parent in 2005 were analyzed to estimate the differences of fiber quality traits between naturally open bolls and big bolls at frost season. The results showed that there were significant differences of -1.15mm, -1.00 and -2.16 in difference values of the mean of fiber length, micronaire and uniformity respectively, between big bolls at frost season and naturally open bolls from 12 F1s combinations of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L. and 3 G.Barbadense L. varieties in 2003, and no significant difference for fiber strength and elongation. And there were significant differences of +1.73cN/tex, -1.33, -0.49 and +0.21 in difference values of the mean of fiber strength, micronaire, uniformity and elongation respectively, between big bolls at frost season and naturally open bolls, for 89 BC2F1 lines of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L. in 2005, except no significant difference for length. The results indicated that there existed significant or extremely significant positive correlation for all fiber quality traits between big bolls at frost season and naturally open bolls, and it were similar for histograms of all fiber quality traits between big bolls at frost season and naturally open bolls in 2003 and 2005. So, some of fiber quality traits, especially micronaire and uniformity, were prominently affected by the environment, but genetic difference of fiber quality traits among materials could be still reflected from big bolls at frost season, which was same as that of naturally open bolls. It was extremely important for fiber quality heredity and breeding selection of hybrid offspring of G. hirsutum L. × G .barbadense L..

Then, choose three sorts of cereals (barley, wheat and maize) with various abilities to compete the soil nitrogen intercropping with faba bean. 【RESULTS】Firstly, there is no significant influence on faba bean shoot and root biomass dry weight, whatever different barrier treatment and various sorts of cereals intercropping systems. Only is the shoot biomass of faba bean in no-barrier significantly more than the treatment of nesh-barrier. Secondly, the biomass of maize and barley is significantly higher than one of wheat, about15.3% and 16.5%, respectively. The root biomass of maize is much more than the barley, approximately 30.5%. So do barley and wheat, about 50.8%. The varying barriers have significant effect on the shoot and root biomass in the same intercropping system. Thirdly, the N-content of barley is significantly higher than the maize and wheat, about16.5% and 19.7%, respectively. The faba bean N-content intercropping with maize is much more than the one with wheat and barley, about 11.2%和5.6% , respectively. 【CONCLUSION】The biomass of faba bean is not affected significantly by intercropping with cereals, whereas the barley/faba bean intercropping system mostly makes use of the N-nutrition, and the N-nutrition of maize significantly profits from intercropping with faba bean. Besides, the no-barrier treatment benefits in N-accumulation.

Effect of nitrogen and density on high yield of wheat in Huaibei was analyzed. Results were shown that effect of increasing production of nitrogen was over density, and the interaction was negative effect. Adding the amount of nitrogen fertilizer applied could increase evidently the number of per hm2 and of grain per panicle. Adding density could increase the number of panicle per hm2 too. But 1000 grain-weight could drop because both two added. The measures for highest yield-level of 8358.3kg/hm2 were as following: N 269.9kg/hm2; density 2.31×106plant/hm2. And idealist yield-structure was: 5.85×106panicle/hm2; 37.9grain/panicle; 1000 grain-weight 39.2g. The reasonable yield when the application of nitrogen range was 255.9~287.3kg/hm2 and density 2.285×106~2.467×106plant/hm2.

The breeding of yellow-seeded rapeseed has become one of the main objectives in rapeseed breeding.To study the correlation among the quality characters of the same yellow-seeded rapeseed genotype with different crop conditions.【METHOD】Correlation analysis between the seed color and other main quality characters of GH01(yellow- seeded rapeseed genotype) was applied under 9 different sowingdate and planting density treatments.【RESULTS】The results indicated that yellow-seeded degree was negatively correlated with the oil content of embryo and seed(r=-0.6617 and r=-0.7458*separately). There was highly significantly negative correlation between oil content of embryo and protein content of embryo, but highly significantly positive correlation between oil content of embryo and that of seed(r=-0.9071**and r=0.8973** separately).【CONCLUSION】Correlation of yellow-seeded degree and the oil content of seed was various with the difference of the genotypes applied, while the correlation between oil content of embryo and protein content of embryo and the correlation between oil content of embryo and that of seed were steady.

The extremely significant difference existed among tested varieties’ kernel moisture at harvesting from 15.49% to 28.50%. The significant difference appeared among tested varieties’ average kernel dry-down rate varied from 0.5296%/d to 0.9007%/d from the 35th day after silking to physiological ripening. There was significant difference among tested varieties’ average kernel drying rate from 0.4246%/d to 0.5935%/d from physiological ripening to harvesting. For the tested hybrids, it has significant correlation between kernel moisture and some plant traits as days from plant emergence to silking, plant height, green leaves at milking stage and kernels weight per ear, etc. Tested hybrids’ kernel dry-down rate was significantly influenced by ear length and ear diameter. For particular tested hybrid, kernel drying rate after physiological ripening was significantly affected by humidity in field.

When the mevinphos was utilized for a long time in highland barley field, the young-root of next-season cole shortened 1.9~2.0cm and fresh weight decreased 0.13~0.14g per individual plant compared with the control. Low-tillage in time after autumn-harvest showed that the weed seeds in the ground surface were harrowed into the tilth of 0~10cm. Early-low-tillage in spring-sow of the next year induced weed seeds of soil surface to germinate and come out ahead. After 10 days, tillage-sow can decrease about 40% weeds. Compared to the normal plough-row, direct late-tillage-row was postponed 10 days, and can decrease about 30% weeds. In the seedling period or later, rudimental weed seeds were handled with a hoe, which led to better cure and control effects and had more benefits to the young seedling growth and yield of the next-season crop.【CONCLUSION】in the areas of rudimental pesticide used for a long time, low-tillage for successive 2~3 years after autumn-harvest and weeds handling with a hoe in different tillage-sow period can control harm of weeds in crop field efficiently, and can not pollute soil and environment, furthermore, can quicken the degradation of soil rudimental pesticide.

The results indicated that the length, quantity and dry weight of roots covered film at different staged was higher than those without film-cover. The length, quantity and dry weight of sample roots at 80d after transplanting was obviously positive correlative with film-cover time. The leaf yield and output value was positive correlating with the 80d-aged or 100d-aged roots length. The root quantity at 60d was obvious negative correlative with the content of reducing sugar of bottom leaf but was obvious positive correlative with the K content. The 80d-aged or 100d-aged root length was positive correlative with reducing sugar content of upper leaf, the 100d-aged root dry weight was positive correlative with the K content of upper leaf. The smoking quality of mulching treatment was higher than that of no mulching. Mulching film can improve the quality of tobacco leaf.

The effect of drought on growth and development of wheat was serious. The growth periods were 9-26 days ahead of time except sowing to three leaves. The effect of drought on growth and development of wheat was serious. Based on the results, we provided some measures for defending and fighting drought.

Our objective was to elucidate the physiological response of leaf and root system to drought at heading stage; 【METHOD】Rice variety Feng-Hua-Zhan was chosen through pot experiment to study the effects of soil drying at heading stage on leaf water potential, root system activity, protective enzyme activity in leaf and root; 【RESULTS】Leaf water potential was significantly decreased after soil drying and it could be restored to the normal level after re-irrigation. Root activity was increased by 28.83%, 123.30% and 50.16% when soil drying lasted 3 d, 6 d and 9 d at heading stage, it could restore to normal level except 9 d treatment after re-irrigation, but root system activity was decreased by 82.25% when soil drying lasted 12 d. Except for the treatment with 12 days of soil drying, superoxide dismutase（SOD），catalase（CAT）and peroxidase（POD）activity in leaf and root increased significantly after soil drying, and they could restore to normal level after re-irrigation. SOD, POD and CAT activity in leaf had higher level than that in root whatever irrigation or not;【CONCLUSION】Rice plant could effectively adjust physiological equilibrium after short-term drought at heading stage, root system and leaves had the similar change trend.

Cai Geping, Guo Yanhong, Yao Hui, Chen ShilinShilin, Zhou Tongshui, 2008, 24 (7):  213-217.  Abstract + ( 2332 )   PDF ( 652713KB )   ( 941 ) 【OBJECTIVE】The effects of external cycocel and gibberellin on the biomass and production of flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalensis were investigated in order to provide reference for the feasibility of the application of external hormones to the cultivation of medicinal plants. 【METHOD】On the 26th day after treatments of 200mg/L cycocel and gibberellin respectively over the seedling leaves, plant morphology was studied; height of plants and weight of aerial and underground biomasses were measured; contents of flavonoids and lignin were determined with HPLC and acetyl bromide-UV spectrometry respectively. 【RESULTS】(1) Compared with control group, cycocel resulted in greener and thicker leaves, more flowers, longer blossom cycle, shorter internodes and thicker stems; gibberellin resulted in significantly higher plants, smaller and less green leaves, thinner stems and more sprouts. (2) Both hormones promoted the biomass of aerial parts and inhibited the root biomass. (3) Both hormones reduced the content of flavonoids in the root while elevated the content of lignin in the aerial parts. 【CONCLUSION】Both cycocel and gibberellin induce the carbon source of the plant to the growth and lignin biosynthesis of the aerial parts, and at the same time inhibited the biomass increase and flavonoid biosynthesis in the root of S. baicalensis. Therefore, they are not suitable for the cultivation of S. baicalensis, and other medicinal plants of which the roots or rhizomes are used as the medicinal materials.

The optimized procedure was as following：after pre-cultured for 1-2 days，the young leaflets were dipped into an Agrobacterium suspension for 10-15 min，then co-cultivation for three days, the explants were transferred to selective media with 100mg/L Km and500mg/L Cef. These conditions benefited to improve the transformation efficiency. PCR analysis showed that transgenic peanut plants were obtained.

However, in the middle and late stage, the growth vigor is becoming enhanced and ultimately better than own-root seeding. 【METHOD】In order to understand the mechanism underneath, Pumpkin ‘Shengzhan No.1’ was used as rootstock for melon ‘Jinmi’ in this experiment, and the own-root seedling was used as control. Effects of grafting on chlorophyll fluorescence parameters were investigated with PAM-2100 chlorophyll fluorometer in different periods after planting (20, 30, 45 and 60 days). 【RESULT】The results showed that the maximum photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm), quantum efficiency of PSII photochemistry (ΦPSⅡ), the electronic transfer rate (ETR), the photochemical quenching (qP) of the grafted seedling were lower than those of the own-root seedling in the 20 days after planting. However, PSⅡ efficient photochemical quantum yield (Fv’/Fm’), Fv/Fm, ΦPSⅡ, ETR , qP were all obviously higher in the 30, 45 and 60 days. But the non-photochemical quenching (qN) of the grafted seedling was lower than the control. The energy distribution in photochemistry (θPSⅡ) was lower in the 20 days, but higher in the 30 days. θPSⅡ of grafted seedling exceeded 70% in the 45 days, yet the control was only 60%.【CONCLUSION】In the initial stage after planting, the light energy transferring and translating efficiency of the grafted seedling was lower than the control. But the efficiency increased clearly after the 30 days. The research indicated that the grafted melon grew mostly in middle and late period, and led better growth vigor finally.

  Studies on the Correlation between Correlative Endogenous Hormone Contents in Leaves and Dwarf、Growth of Peach Trees Wang Chengxia, Sun Hu, Dong Xiaoying, Li Peihuan 2008, 24 (7):  226-230.  Abstract + ( 1978 )   PDF ( 622575KB )   ( 716 ) In order to discussing the difference of the correlative endogenous hormone contents of dwarf peach、affording theoretical basis to choosing and breeding excellent dwarf cultivars which have the virtues of dwarf density planting、high quantity and quality, the general type of peach “Chunyan”，spur type “Super red spur” and dwarf type “P.persica var.densa ” were used to study the correlation between correlative endogenous hormone contents of IAA、GA、CTK、ABA in leaves of peach and length of internodes in different growing type peaches．The results showed that the difference of the contents of IAA, GA, CTK, ABA, the ratios of GA/ABA, IAA/ABA, IAA+GA+CTK/ABA, CTK/GA in leaves of peach among different type peaches all achieved fearfully marked level; it had negative relativity between the contents of IAA, GA, the ratios of GA/ABA, IAA/ABA, IAA+GA+CTK/ABA and tree dwarfing in three types peaches; it had marked negative relativity between the content of CTK and tree dwarfing. It had marked positive relativity between the contents of ABA, CTK/GA and tree dwarfing.

The seedling of mulberry can be propagated rapidly by tissue culture. The author focused on the effects of various sterilization conditions, different concentration of mediums and different browning inhibition on tissue rapid propagation using Mulberry’s side bud tissue as explants. As a result, the explants have grown into healthy and strong callus and been inducted into roots. The main results were as follows: The Mulberry’s side bud tissue was disinfected for 30 seconds using 75% alcohol firstly, then for 8 minutes by HgCl2 solution with a few of Tween-80. In the culture medium of MS+6-BA 2mg/L + IAA 0.5mg/L, the induction rate of callus was about 80%. In the rooting culture medium of MS + IAA 0.1mg/L + 6–BA 0.5mg/L, the rooting rate was about 70%. If taking adventitious bud induction directly, each stem can produce three adventitious bud averagely in the culture medium of MS +IAA 0.2mg/L + 6–BA 3.0mg/L. Ascorbic acid can inhibit callus browning to a certain extent. But there are still many problems in the process of Mulberry’s tissue rapid propagation and further study is necessary.

The results showed that the daily variation of net photosynthetic rate in leaves presented a bimodal curve,and there is an obvious“midday depression”phenomenon.The light saturation point was about 327μmol·m-2·s-1,the light compensation point was about 28.3μmol·m-2·s-1,the CO2 saturation point was about 1200μl·L-1 and CO2 compensation point was about 60~70μl·L-1.The photosynthesis was more sensitive to the higher temperature (>25℃).

Pot experiment of fertilizer effect was conducted by using winter wheat as test crop and red oil soil as test soil. The results showed that all the peat-compound fertilizers significantly increased the biomass and dry root of winter wheat. The fixing effect of soil on Zn, Fe, and P was attenuated and the uptake amounts of the elements were increased. Among the fertilizers, acidizing had the best effect, and the treatment of adding water was next to it. As for fertilizer application methods, layering application was better than mixing application.

Results showed that there was a markedly positive correlation between Olsen-P and P rates of plough layers in cinnamon soil. Phosphorus activation coefficient of soil was enhanced markedly with the increase of P rates. The highest contribution is Ca2-P among the inorganic P constituents, and then was Fe-P and the lowest was Ca8-P. As P rates were increased, Ca10-P content had no obvious variation, which was thought as a slack effective P source and would not be absorbed by crops in the future of some length. Calcareous P were the main forms of inorganic P in plough layers of cinnamon soil and the proportions of the constituents of inorganic P from high to low were shown as followed: Ca10-P, O-P, Ca8-P, Al-P, Fe-P, and the lowest was Ca2-P.

Results showed: biomass of spinach organs increased with the nitrogen level increasing, but the ratio in roots decreased and the leave’s increased. Nitrate content of spinach increased with the nitrogen level increased, but it was higher in leaves than roots. Nitrogen accumulation in leaves increased significantly with the nitrogen level increasing, but it changed little in roots under N2、N3、N4 levels. The ratio of total N accumulation in leaves increased but decreased in roots with the nitrogen level increasing. The K content of spinach organs significantly decreased, the K accumulation in leaves and plant increased but decreased in roots with the nitrogen level increasing. The ratio of nitrate to total N and total K decreased with the nitrogen increasing. Nitrate was positively correlated with total N and negatively corrected with total K.

Six fertilization treatments and five N levels were designed to study the N effect on garlic yield and the nitrogen balance in the soil profile. The result showed that an increasing trend was observed for the garlic yield with the growing N application rates, and the growth rate ranged from 25.4 to 40.2％.It is indicated that treatment MN3(N 240 kg/ha) was the optimal N application rate under local condition. Results showed the apprant mineralized amount of soil organic N, and net mineralized amount of organic fertilizer were N 134.5 and 34.2 kg/ha respectively within the whole growing season. The optimum applying N rates of seedling stage, the phase of flower bud differentiation and garlic bolt elongation, bulb inflation phase were 158.6、128.0、211.6 kg/ha respectively. On the other hand, N loss increased (32.0~40.4%) accordingly with the growth of the N application rates, and the benefit per N rate reduced from 97 to 35 yuan per yuan input with the growing N application rates. A conclusion was conducted from the experiment that not only the yield should be thought a lot, but also the economic and environmental benefits be considered for the garlic fertilization.

The results indicated that the conventional contents of topsoil nutrients in the city were rich, while the average contents of pH, C/N, organic matter, total N, Avail-N, Olsen-P, Avail-K were 7.16, 8.43, 14.70g/kg, 1.24g/kg, 126.21mg/kg, 58.23mg/kg, 219.10mg/kg, respectively. As a whole, the content of organic matter is in medium level, total N is relatively rich, Avail-N is rich, Olsen-P and Avail-K are very rich.; The contents of topsoil nutrients showed an obvious difference between north and south in the city, and most soil nutrients in protected vegetable lands are significantly higher than those in open farm lands; Among all the topsoil nutrients, Olsen-P has maximal variance, while the others have medium variance except pH.

The vertical variation was that the soil moisture content of cultivate layer was very little, change considerable fast. The soil moisture content of central layer was higher, and the soil transmit very fast, and dry- humid varies range greatness, it also affect by precipitation and drought. The soil moisture content of bottom layer was higher than that of cultivate layer and central layer, it very stabile and abundance.

Experimental result shows that, the fresh yield of eatable part of vegetable increased along with adding the dosage of nitrogenous fertilizer in the four continuous stubbles of the designed field experiment. It also shows that the optimal dosages are 537.4 and 473.88 kg/hm2 for celery planting and cabbage planting, respectively. By contrast with the non-fertilization counterpart region, the contents of NH4-N increase along with adding the dosages of nitrogenous fertilizer, and the contents of NO3-N also increase with prolonging the planting time of vegetable. On the other hand, fertilization has changed the contents of NO3-N in soil profiles of counterpart regions after harvesting of four continuous stubbles. In the different treatments of fertilization，the contents of NO3-N have increasingly raised in the soil profiles of the fertilized regions. But the content of NO3-N decreased in soil profile of counterpart region without nitrogen fertilization. The experimental result can be used as a reference to guide proper fertilization in the continuous cropping vegetable soil.

  Effects of N Level and NPK Ratio on Yield and Quality of Sun-cured Tobacco Zhang Chendong 2008, 24 (7):  276-279.  Abstract + ( 1706 )   PDF ( 423299KB )   ( 760 ) In order to search after appropriate nitrogen application dosage and proportion of phosphorus and potassium in the fertilizer composition, provide with a reasonable economic principle for scientific fertilization and guidance schemes for the production of quality sun-cured tobacco, an orthogonal design was used with small plot trials in the suitable growing areas to compare the effects on growth and development, yield, output value, and smoking quality of sun-cured tobacco, the results showed that the influences occurred in varying degrees while less or ruleless effects displaying on appearance quality and botanic characters respectively. At 75kg/hm2 of nitrogen application, the treatment had maximum yield and output value, whereas to 105kg/hm2, the output declined slightly, and nicotine content increased significantly at an average of more than 3.0 percent at this time. An increase of ratio of P to N heightened nicotine content but less influenced yield and output. More potassium added in fertilizer composition did not improve yield and output value, and the content of potassium in leaves of sun-cured tobacco has not markedly increased, whereas it conduced to reduce the content of nicotine. Therefore, the appropriate amount of nitrogen application for sun-cured tobacco should be controlled in 75kg/hm2 or below, and the suitable ratio of P to N advised to 0.5：1, only when lower level of phosphorus content in soil and pH＞7, the ratio could be increased to 1：1. The proper ratio of K to N is 2：1 and could be improved to 3：1 when lower level of potassium content in soil.

The quadratic equation in three variables fertilizer response model had been established. The result showed that Urea（nitrogenous fertilizer）use-efficiency was 40.1%, calcium superphosphate (Phosphorous fertilizer) use-efficiency was 15.2%, potassium chloride (potassium fertilizer)use-efficiency was 37.1%. According to the quadratic equation in three variables fertilizer response model, the economic optimum application rate of nitrogenous fertilizer, Phosphorous fertilizer and Phosphorous fertilizer were N 159.6 kg/ha, P2O5 40.8 kg/ha and K2O 55.2 kg/ha, respectively.

  Potential Ecological Risk of Heavy Metals in Vegetable Soils Zhuang Shuying 2008, 24 (7):  284-287.  Abstract + ( 1738 )   PDF ( 480833KB )   ( 919 ) Potential ecological risks of 6 heavy metals in vegetable soil were evaluated by using Hakanson’s potential ecological risk evaluation method, and 4 different sets of evaluation standards. The results showed that there didn’t exit significant difference among the evaluation standards in single-element potential ecological risk coefficient of As, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn. The Eri value of As, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn were all less than 40, posing little（Ⅰgrade） ecological hazard, but it was significant in the case of Hg, the Eri value of Hg was19.59 to 114.4, posing little(Ⅰ grade) to very strong (Ⅳ grade) ecological hazard. Sequencing of Eri value revealed that Hg pollution was on top of the list and followed by Cd pollution in the two sampling sites. In terms of potential ecological risk index, RI value of both sampling sites were less than 150, regardless of evaluation standards, suggesting that integrated potential ecological harzard of 6 heavy metals contents of As, Hg, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn were slight. The potential ecological risk of heavy metals in Sampling Site No.1 was higher than in Sampling Site No. 2. Therefore, the latter should enjoy the priority of being chosen as vegetable production base.

Guanxi pummelo fruits including no-pollinated inbred fruit and pollinated hybridized fruit were experimented to determine isoenzymes by means of polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results showed that the juicy sac granulation indexes of both ‘guanxi-miyou’ pummelo inbred and hybridized rose as the fruits matured, but the former was larger than the latter; 4 POD bands, 6 SOD bands and 3 CAT bands were isolated from inbred juicy sac zymograms respectively, while 2 POD bands, 4 SOD bands and no any CAT bands were separated from hybridized zymograms; POD and SOD isoenzyme were closely related to the juicy sac granulation.

The results showed that when N was 210 kg•hm-2, P2O5 was 90 kg•hm-2 and K2O was 150 kg•hm-2, the yield was 59967.0 kg•hm-2, and the phosphorus and potassium fertilizer had no significant influence on lettuce yields, demonstrated that the experimental soil was not lack of available phosphorus, and potassium. Regression analysis indicates that the dose of 164 kg•hm-2 N can give the best economic yield of 59115.8 kg•hm-2. The result also showed that the fertilizer recoveries by lettuce were very low, in which the highest value was potassium with only 12.0%, nitrogen was 5.9% and phosphorus was no higher than 5.1%. In the balance indexes of nutrition for N, P, K, the highest index for K was only 1.73, and the lowest one for P was 0.27. These results also indicated that the recoveries of chemical fertilizer nutrient were very low, so the soil nutrition needs to be monitored regularly, and fertilizing carefully, avoiding from resources waste.

  Effects of Water Absorbent Polymer on Water Status and Physical Properties of Special Synthetic Soil Used on High and Cut Rock Slopes Gao Guijuan, Li Zhidan 2008, 24 (7):  303-306.  Abstract + ( 1759 )   PDF ( 511697KB )   ( 688 ) The studies about the effects of components added to such soil and the interactions between each of components on plant growth and the erosion against rain of such synthetic soils were very important. Inorder to improve the water status of the special synthetic soils used on the hydroseeding technique, keepiing-and-absorbing water properties as well as the effects of water absorbent polymer on soil physical properties were performed. Based on the results, the maximum absorbing content of water absorbent polymer reached to 500 times, and when water absorbent polymer was added into soils, the soil water status was significantly improved (p<0.05), and the time of its keeping water could maintain 12h and 8h treated with 30° and 50°, respectively. Forthemore, siol bulk density, specific gravity decreased and total porosity increased with the increase of water absorbent polymer content.

In this study, 89 accessions of Chinese cabbage（Brassica campestris L. ssp. pekinensis） germplasm were employed to study the genetic relationships among Chinese cabbages using AFLP makers. 6 pairs of primer generated 286 bands, including 123 (43.01%) polymorphic bands. There is obvious difference among the numbers of total bands and polymorphic bands produced by different pairs of primer. E-ACT/M-CAC showed the best amplification effect and generated plentiful polymorphic bands that occupying 54.35% of total. Based on the AFLP markers, clustering analysis of AFLP showed that Chinese cabbage possesses broad variation with utmost genetic distance of 0.359. All the materials were divided into 4 groups with the threshold of 0.73 of similarity coefficient. “Zhejiang huangyacai” was separated from the group of most of Chinese cabbage and formed into another independent group. The result indicated that most of Chinese cabbage and the lines from Japan and Korea which were more genetically similar to the mainland materials formed into one group. In this group the lines of Taiwan germplasms formed into an independent subgroup, and the materials in most parts of mainland formed into another subgroup.

The result shows that: The seeds are about 2.548mm long, oblate, and are yellow-gray or brown-black. The weight is 2.471g per thousand-granule. The dormant character of the seeds is forcing dormancy caused by hard seed vessels. The dormancy could be broken down by 98% concentrated sulfuric acid. The most appropriate time is 30min. The highest germination rate is 85.33%. The optimum germination temperature is 20℃. When the seeds were soaked in 200mg/L GA the germination rate could reach to 86.67%.

The results showed the phenotypic traits had high genetic diversity among cultivated Capsicum species, and the coefficient of variation（VC）of 14 phenotypic traits ranged from 14.0%（the index of leaf shape）to 135.0%（fruit mean weight）. The fruit traits had complicated correlation with plant model traits, so it should be paid attention to select the phenotypic traits reasonablly according to the breeding goals in pepper genetic improving.

But there was no integrate research about the Rosa cultivars. Random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) was used to analyze the genetic polymorphism of 2 Rosa species, 1 var. species and 20 Rosa multiflora cultivars. Sixteen primers amplified 175 DNA fragments, 151 (86.3%) of which were polymorphic. Different color cultivars had different genetic polymorphism with the white 75.16%, pink 73.46%, yellow 37.50%. Cultivars were taken for cluster analysis by the way of UPGMA. When LD was 0.667 material in experiment could be classified into three categories. The two parts were white-pink cultivars such as Rosa multiflora and modern cultivars of Rosa of which flower were larger. Yellow flowers were in anther part which was far away from other two parts. The cluster result revealed the evolution tendency of Rosa plants. Original character was white and simple petal. Modern character of Rosa cultivars was Larger and double flower. The Rosa of pink semi-double petal was the transition from wild species to modern cultivars.

Above all, perlite1 and vermiculite1 treatment has a good effect on the growth of geranium cutting.

Since 1980, around the germplasm resources of fruit trees in Weifang, the author has carried out a series of collection, investigation, and identification, in order to protect, develop and utilize them. As a result, the author has identified the germplasm resources of fruit trees in Weifang, there are 21 families, 47 genera, 121 species, 14 varieties. The order of every family, genus, species and variety in this article is in alphabetical order.

  Study on the Correlation between the Activity of β-D-glucosidase and the Pathogenicity of Fusarium oxysporum Strains from Cucurbitaceous Crops Xiao Rongfeng, Lan Jiangling, Che Jianmei, Liu Bo, Liu Danying 2008, 24 (7):  351-355.  Abstract + ( 2358 )   PDF ( 587846KB )   ( 733 ) 【OBJECTIVE】Studying the correlation of pathogenicity and β-D-glucosidase activityof strains in order to find the fast testing method of the pathogenicity of Fusarium oxysporum from cucurbitaceous crops.【METHOD】we tested the pathogenicity and β-D-glucosidase activity for nineteen strains isolated from cucumber, melon and watermelon, and form a correlation construct of pathogenicity(y) and β-D-glucosidase activity(x).【RESULTS】The results showed that significant differences of the pathogenicity and β-D-glucosidase activity were found among different strains from the same or the different host-plants. The tested strains were grouped into pathogenicity and nonpathogenicity, and the β-D-glucosidase activity of strains from cucumber, melon and watermelon were in the range of 21.57-54.89，16.28-41.83 and 14.98-32.43 U•ml-1, respectively. The average activity of the strains from cucumber, melon and watermelon were 34.08, 27.86, 20.95 U•ml-1.【CONCLUSION】There was a positive correlation between the β-D-glucosidase activity and pathogenicity of F. oxysporum isolated from cucurbitaceous crops while the activity was less than 30 U•ml-1; contrarily , disease incidence of strains were more than 90% while more than 30 U•ml-1.

The results showed that S. litura from different areas had different susceptibility to abamectin in Hainan. The resistance of S. litura from Yacheng，Luodai，Jinjiang and Tongza increased 8.94–fold，4.60–fold，6.12–fold and 2.82–fold in 2004 and 24.66–fold，22.59–fold，11.24–fold and 4.41–fold in 2005 based on the results of the LC50 of S . litura from Liangyuan. The resistance of S. litura to abamectin developed very rapidly. The bioassay of carboxylesterase indicated that carboxylesterase activity in different S. litura significantly increased after treated by abamectin 18.00µg/g, 9.00µg/g, 4.50µg/g, 3.00µg/g and 2.25µg/g .The results above showed that the significant increase of carboxylesterase activity in S. litura was one of the main factors which caused the susceptibility of S. litura to abamectin to decline.

JF86C and JF883 have more strong survival ability in soil. Too high quantity of spores was detrimental to the long survival of Metarrhizium anisopliae. The sporulation of Metarrhizium anisopliae kept relatively stable in soil.

The results showed that the average inhibition rate of the metabolites of Xi-55 against U.virens was 54.64%. The average inhibition rate against spore germination of U.virens was 69.33%, while the growth-promoting effect on rice of Xi-55 was opposite.

The incubation and preservation of the black shank, and the preparation of inoculation medium were provided in this identification method. The time and quantity of black shank disease inoculation were also advised in this paper.The result showed that the resistance indexes of the lines were all below 25.The analysis of SSR showed that it was non-remarkable difference between the lines and the resistant CK,K326 and Gexin3.And the resistance was consistent among the years which showed that the way of the identification of resistance was reliable.

The results indicated that 5% hexaflumuron adding bamboo vinegar which was diluted with water into 400 times solution has significantly promotional effects on controlling Spodoptera litura larvae at 1~2 instar on 7 days after application , and the efficiency by application of half of recommendation dose of 5% hexaflumuron was the same as that by application of recommendation dose. 10% imidacloprid adding bamboo vinegar diluted by 400 times have significantly promotional effects on controlling Empoasca flavescens on 1, 3, 7 and 11 days after application, and the efficiencies by application of half of recommendation dose of 10% imidacloprid were the same as that by application of recommendation dose on 1 and 3 days after application. But the promotional effect of adding bamboo vinegar diluted by 600 times was significant only on 1 day, and not significant on 3, 7 and 11 days after application.

The compared items included morphologic characters and physiological and biochemical specialties (content of chlorophyll, reductive sugar and protein, and activity of amine transferase, nitrate reductase, IAA oxidase and peroxidase). The results suggested that there were some obvious differences between two materials: (1) Rooting rate of the new poplar was higher than the old ones, and the total root length was longer than the old. Shoot’s growth rate of the news is also greater than the old in 55th days after cutting; the length of shoots of the new was 12.42cm, but the old only 5.34cm; (2) Both in photosynthesis (photosynthetic pigment content, reduced sugar content) and nitrogen metabolism (protein content, nitrate reductase and amine transferase activity), the new poplar was more excellent than the old; (3) By mathematic analysis, the rooting characteristics was find to be the main factor in all factors affecting plant growth.

Strong acidic electrolyzed water (AEW) was reported to exhibit strong antibacterial activity against many pathogens mainly as a result of its low pH (2~3), high oxidation-reduction potential (900~1200mV), and available chlorine content. Moreover, AEW exhibits the following advantages over other traditional cleaning agents: high effectiveness, easy operation, safety and environmentally friendly. In recent years, AEW has been regarded as a novel and effective sanitizer and used widely in medicine, agriculture, and food industry. In this paper, the characteristics, manufacturing and sterilization mechanism of strong acidic electrolyzed water were introduced, the application and factors affecting the sterilization ability were clarified, and the prospect was forecasted.

The result shows that, treatment C （pea/cotton＋corn）and D （rapeseed/cotton＋peanut）have the best comprehensive benefit and considered to be the best cropping systems extending on upland red soil.

The result showed: The effect in once or separately fertilizing biogas slurry and on photosynthetic physiological indexes, quality and dry matter content in celery is studied. The experiments with design method of complete random were conducted to study. The result is as following: Either once or separately fertilizing biogas slurry, Photosynthesis physiological index and quality of celery were obviously increased, the dry matter content of celery was decreased, moreover there was no significant difference in dry matter content of celery. The contents of chlorophyll and the catalase activity of celery were increased 19.06%, 6.52% in the once top-dressing treatment with 300ml biogas slurry (A1I) than that applied chemical fertilizer (A1I). The contents of VC and the reducing sugar of celery were increased 9.07% and 51.31% in the once top-dressing treatment with 900ml biogas slurry (A2I) than that applied chemical fertilizer (B2I) while the content of nitrate was decreased 31.65%.There was no significant difference in quality and yield of celery between the fertilizing biogas slurry once and separately. The separately fertilizing chemical fertilizer treatment significantly reduced the content of nitrate in comparison with once fertilizing.

Then tourism planning are made, schemes planed are evaluated by using the methods of landscape ecology. Then some plants are planned, such as sour jujube, dong jujube, li jujube, yueguang jujube, wild vegetables, persimmon, cerasus humilis and altered the plant type of ornamental garden. Some trees are planned to plant such as Pyrus betulaefolia Bunge，Koelreuteria paniculata Laxm, and Ailanthus altissima Var.. And some aspects are also planned. For example, ecological rain-collection exemplary base, exhibition room of rocket eliminating lightning, Wolong temple, goldfish pool, fish-watching corridor, store, sight-viewing pavilion, road, park and washing room. Using landscape indices in the aspect of patches level and landscape level as quantity indices, it evaluates planned effect. Some conclusions are put forward that though landscape fragmentation indices are increased after planning, centralizing degree of landscape types strengthened. Diversity index, Dominance index and Richness index are also increased，so esthetic qualities are improved, tourism facilities are more perfect, and sightseeing periods are longer. This evaluation method has certain feasibility and reference value in the .screening of planned scheme.

The net photosynthetic rate of 1 year needle of half-sib 464 and 609 and 1077 is over than others. The common variety is lowest. The net photosynthetic rate is step by 8.17μmol•m-2•s-1 and 7.91μmol•m-2•s-1 and 7.88μmol•m-2•s-1 and 5.46μmol•m-2•s-1.The net photosynthetic rate of 2 year needle of half-sib 1077 and 609 and 46 is over than others. The common variety is lowest. The net photosynthetic rate is step by 5.47μmol•m-2•s-1 and 5.42μmol•m-2•s-1 and 5.37μmol•m-2•s-1 and 3.65μmol•m-2•s-1.The net photosynthetic rate and maximum net photosynthetic rate of 1 year needle is over than 1 year needle’s. Since the wider area and regional discrepancy in influenced factors and eco-background, the regional environment hasn’t been studied systematily. The paper built the Stress-response-regulation model according to the interaction between human and environment, and analysis the safety degree of west part of Jilin province in 2000 using compound model and Grid method based on GIS and RS. The results show that most part of the study area belong to the security state while the risk and non security area distributed in the middle and west part of the study area, furthermore, the state of east is better than that of west. When talk about ten counties of the region, absolute security account for a very small quantity, and the county that has widest area of security is Qian’an while the smallest is Da’’an. Tao’nan is the county that the area of risk is biggest, 43.08 percent of whole county area and the that of Qian’an is smallest, accounting for 1.56 percent only. The area of non security of Tongyu, zhenglai and Da’an have exceeded 10 percent and been the urgently treatmented region. Coupling between ecological security and type of land use showed that the farm belt is relatively stable while pasturing area has been distroied furthest. Although the value of grass is more than that of farmland by the Constanz’s theory of ecological value, the cover degree of grass in study is lower and when there is disturbance, whole system lost balance.

The bacteria were divided into 17 genera. Further screening was conducted by digestion test and 4 isolates were found to have good degrading ability to Dimethoate. Salmonella choleraesuis subsp. houtenae, Enterobacter cloacae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus megaterium GC subgroup A had 27.3%, 26.6%, 22.9% and 18.1% of degrading rate at 48h, respectively, while the initial concentration of Dimethoate was 1000 mg/L. The bacteria that had degrading ability to Dimethoate existed species polymorphism

According to the related literature of history, basic geography data, and the remote sensing map-making research, this paper analyses the distribution of the lakes and rivers in the natural protection area, and the variation of the waters, in order to provide scientific reference to the related research on the utilization and protection of wetland ecosystems, the soil erosion of mountainous district and the variation of the land resources.

Taking Anhui province as an example, the author puts forward the concept and estimates model of development dominance ratio of cultivated land resources on the basis of land productivity and land potential utilization ratio and its counties related indicators were calculated and analyzed. The results showed that the model fit well on the status of cultivated land resources and regional differences in Anhui province.

  Changes of Nutrient Components During the Development of Pineapple Fruit <SPAN lang=EN-US style= 2008, 24 (7):  457-461.  Abstract + ( 2075 )   PDF ( 588519KB )   ( 886 ) The contents of main sugar、organic acid and vitamin C were analyzed during the fruit development of three pineapple cultivars ,including ‘Yellow Mauritius’, ‘Cayenne’ and ‘Tainung 11’. The results showed that the dominant sugars in pineapple fruit were sucrose、glucose and fructose, The content of different sugars was low at the earlier development stage, but increased rapidly with slowing down of fruit growth, and peaked at the ripe stage. Moreover, different cultivars showed remarkable difference in the sugar compositions: the ratio in Yellow Mauritius was 3.71:1.11:1 and the ratio in Cayenne was 2.67:0.74:1. The main organic acids were citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid and maleate in pineapple fruit. The concent and ratio of organic acids differened in different pineapple cultivars with the fruit development In ripe fruit, the order of organic acid content from high to low in Yellow Mauritius was citric acid(65.7%), malic acid(24.9%), acetic acid, oxalic acid and maleate in Bali fruit’ while In ‘Cayenne’, it was citric acid (62.2%), malic acid(14.4%), acetic acid, oxalic acid and maleate. There were abundant vitamin C in pineapple fruit and the larger differences in the content of vitamin C of different cultivars, it was the lowest in ‘Tainnung 11’ (0.11mg/g) and hightest in ‘Yellow Mauritius ‘(0.49mg/g).

  Bibliometric Analysis of Insect-resistant Cotton Literature in China Zheng Jingye 2008, 24 (7):  462-466.  Abstract + ( 1424 )   PDF ( 549406KB )   ( 794 ) On the basis of insect-resistant cotton literatures collected by the China Journal Full-text Database (1990—2007), statistic analysis is done on data volume of insect-resistant cotton researches and the year distribution of periodical categories, core authors and their regional distribution, authors’ collaboration degree, periodical that published the papers, the subject, etc. by bibliometric method. The result showed that the gross volume of literatures was 2042 papers and the number of onymous literatures was 1964. The primary authors were 1221 and the total of periodical that published the papers was 221. 24 core authors and 4 core journals was confirmed. This paper has disclosed the characteristics of research on the insect-resistant cotton by analysis of the Chinese research status on insect-resistant cotton. It has provided reference basis for research on insect-resistant cotton information communication.

By the method of grey correlative degree analysis, the paper analyzed the correlative degree between yield and some important agronomic characters of Glutinous Sorghum in 2006—2007. The results showed that that the order of the correlative degree of main characters to yield was 1000-grain weight, heavy of per spike, growth duration, plant height and spike length. That is, the important character to yield influence in turn was:1000-grain weight> heavy of per spike> growth duration> plant height>spike length. Among them, affecting maximal main part is 1000-grain weight.The second is heavy of per spike. Growth duration over output is in the middle relatively. By contrast, the effect of plant height and spike length is relatively less.This provided an important theoretic basis for strategies in breeding and quality cultivating of Glutinous Sorghum.

The academic contention concerning books(Monograph) on Ginkgo was probed into. Existed problems and the improving suggestions are put forward.

First, indexes about the freezing grade of Longan were identified according to the relationships among Longan growth, damage degree, annual minimum temperature, and the aspect and slope of planting region. Using the geographical information data of 68 meteorological stations, spatial distribution model of freezing damage indexes of Longan was established, and the 50m×50m resolution spatial distributions were simulated by GIS. Therefore, distribution rules of Longan in Fujian were analyzed by using GIS spatial analysis.
