Effect of Nano-carbon Synergists on Nitrogen Utilization Efficiency and Yield of Maize Under Different Nitrogen Levels

Abstract: This experiment used‘Jiudan 48’corn as the material to find the effect of Nano-carbon synergist on yield and nitrogen utilization efficiency (NUE) of maize under different nitrogen levels, which aimed to explore the effect of Nano-carbon efficiency fertilizers on maize production. The results showed that Nanocarbon affected the corn vegetative stage significantly, 41 days after shooting, the dry weight was significantly different between Nano-carbon treatment and non Nano-carbon treatment under the same nitrogen levels. Under the same nitrogen level, fertilizer and nitrogen utilization efficiency of Nano- carbon treatment was higher than that of non Nano-carbon treatment, differences of nitrogen harvest index of N150 C, N190 and N190 C were not significant. Yield difference between N190 and N150 C was not significant, and N150 C treatment did well in terms of saving fertilizer and increasing production. In this study, adding Nano-carbon was conducive to cost saving and improved NUE. Therefore, in agricultural production, adding appropriate concentration of Nano-carbon to fertilizer can save costs and improve NUE.
