Abstract: The street tree is an important part of urban forest. Study of the structure of the street trees help to urban planning and construction, provide basis to evaluate the function of the urban ecosystem service. On the basis of investigating on data of street trees of 15 main streets in urban area of Huangshan city, there were 24 tree species and 37 shrub species. The compositions, diameter structure, crown structure and species diversity of street trees in Huangshan city were analyzed. The results were as follows:1) The dominant species was obvious in the city; 2) The ratio of the trees with the diameter between 6~14cm to the total number of trees was 55.7%；3) The difference of crown width of street trees was obvious among the streets, there was the biggest crown width in Xinan North Road,11.31m and the least crown width in Tiandu Road,2.4m; 4) Species diversity went to two extremes between Binjiang Middle Road (H=2.6850) and Huangshan East Road (H=0.7498).
