The Current Conditions and Developing Countermeasures of the Fresh Eating Maize Industry

Abstract: This paper has analyzed the current conditions of the Fresh Edible Maize industry, Now there was a good outset of the characteristic the Fresh Edible Maize industrialization. The production of the fresh waxy maize had a big scale, planting area of the fresh maize was expanded 2000hm2;high quality new varieties were introduced into、demonstrated and extended uninterruptedly, planting the waxy(sweet) maize had got a higher efficiency than others; adopting production technique was perfect gradually, in a word the fresh maize production had emerged its great predominance from the regional agricultural industry in our county. Simultaneously the problems were analyzed briefly on the development of the fresh maize industry, and put the developing strategies to solve them. Firstly, propagandize widely, enhance the famous of the Fresh Edible Maize industry in our county. Secondly stabile and improve the level of the construction of the fresh maize base. Thirdly, optimize industry structure, improve the comprehensive production capacity. Lastly, speed up the industrialized exploitation of the fresh maize, extend its industry chain.
