Abstract: The aim of this study was to form the dominant of agriculture industry, and creating a beautiful rurality by well design, scientific planning, explore actively folk custom and farming culture, combined with abundant agricultural resources and beautiful natural environment of baimao villag in baiyun district, guiyang city. Six functional areas was planned, including national ecological tourism area, fruit-picking tourism area, vegetable industry tourism area, agriculture high-tech demonstration area, rare birds breeding area, leisure resort area, folk custom and farming culture center. Baimao villag would establish urban modern agriculture provided with picking tourism, amusement, agriculture high-tech demonstration, agricultural experience, popular science education by building landscape, development of various types of tourism, combined with the theme of different area. Which would provide development model for the building of new socialist countryside in guiyang city.
