Abstract:

To analyze the gene regulatory mechanisms behind insect phenotypes, single-cell transcriptome sequencing technology overcomes the shortcomings of traditional techniques and fully reflects cellular heterogeneity, and realizes the identification of cell types, the derivation of cell differentiation trajectories, and the analysis of intercellular interactions. This paper summarized the application of single-cell transcriptomes in entomological studies, with a view to providing references for insect phenotype-cell-gene studies in function and molecular mechanisms.
