Abstract: Under the environment of demand improvement and limited nature resource, fruit industry is faced with a series of problems on development space, economic benefit, marketing and so on. The fundamental way for sustainable development of fruit industry lies in science and technology. Based on field survey in Pinggu District of Beijing, this paper summarizes the main problems on production, storage and processing, marketing, and makes suggestions on need for science and technology of fruit industry sustainable development.
